West Scotland beaches are clean, often vacant and offer solitude and tranquility. Here are some images of some of West Scotlands' beaches.
Argyll & Bute
Point Sands | Kintyre | Argyll
Point Sands is probably Kintyre's best beach with golden sand and shallow water perfect for swimming. Early in the summer evenings do not be surprised to see rabbits scampering quietly onto the beach, a lonely seal, deer and many interesting birds and insects.

Chleit | Kintyre | Argyll
Remaining unknown to many local residents of Kintyre, and also visitors, Chleit is a small secluded sandy beach near a small old church on the west coast of Kintyre, about half way down the peninsula overlooking Gigha.
